Boston Teens, Rock n' Roll and Federal Elections?

Leaders we choose now will leave a mark on the world for future generations.   Four boys from teen band Black Diamonds, want the world and especially Ontario, Canada,  to know about one really great candidate, "Patrick Burger".

What could Black Diamonds possibly do to help Patrick in his campaign -  from not only hundreds of miles away but from another country no less?  Well, they could put together a "Top Ten List" of why they think you should consider Patrick - in their own words, unrehearsed, sincere, a bit silly and with some Boston accents thrown in...

How did these Boston Teens get to know Patrick Burger who is running as an NDP candidate for Parliament in his district?  From their bass player "Wolfgang" of course!  Wolfgang Burger, the nephew and godchild of Patrick, introduced his bandmates to his awesome uncle over 6 years ago at one of their first shows in the infancy of their band days.

Meeting Patrick progressed into an invitation to stay at his farm in Ontario, "The Realm", so the band began yearly "Summer Canadian Tours"  featuring shows in the Montreal and Cornwall area.  The boys have made so many great Canadian friends, especially other youth musicians that they have had the pleasure to do shows with.

Black Diamonds have absolutely insisted with Patrick, that they will perform at his celebration party should Patrick gain this Parliament seat for the NDP's SDSG district.  And they also insist that they can invite all their Canadian friends to attend!

Amazon FBA Fees: Why I Stopped Selling on Amazon FBA and Ebay!

Amazon FBA?

Okay. I will admit it.

I was totally stoked about selling on Amazon FBA.

The rules changes and high eBay fees quickly caused me to leave their platform. It's a real shame too because eBay once had a good thing going.

And, at first, Amazon FBA was GREAT!

But then it started. You know the drill:

- increasing fees
- crazy rule changes
- new state taxes
- extra fees for selling in Canada, and overseas

It quickly became more of a hassle. And, I haven't even gotten into the shipments that were lost, and, yes, damaged!

For some reason Amazon FBA will let a customer open, and some cases destroy, and item and hassle you about quality. This I found utterly confounding.

The Private Labeling Mirage!
Yes, I too thought that Private Labeling would be the answer to my prayers. I mean all of the gurus were selling online courses telling us how wonderful it was.

(But I soon realized that those same guys (and gals) were making their real money from the courses they were selling and NOT Amazon FBA).

So what is the problem with Private Labeling?
Let me list only a handful of them:

1) The Asian manufacturer who private labeled your item is selling the SAME item they made for you for LESS MONEY on Amazon FBA (if you don't believe it just search Amazon for items made by sellers named "China").

2) The "race to the bottom" - even if the margins are good some "Amazon FBA Newbie" will offer the same product for much less money killing your profit margins (and theirs!).

3) Everyone now knows the BIG overseas and wholesale sites in the states to get the products from. This is why you can find DOZENS of the same item on any listing.

Those are just the tip of the iceberg. The 'Taxman" is about to invoke new laws that will pinch us even more in months to come.

The Truth!
Sometimes I'm kinda slow. The truth had been staring me in the face for years. The people who make the REAL money online are doing it with 'digital products' that defy the 3-D world limitations of:

- size
- production costs
- shipping and handling
- postage costs

Description of the game

"The Baron's daughter is missing, and you are the man to find her. No problem. With your inexhaustible arsenal of hard-boiled similes, there is nothing you can't handle."

PataNoir is a homage to the classic stories of hard-boiled private investigators with a knack for describing everything with complex similes and metaphors. In PataNoir, you solve problems by manipulating the hard-boiled metaphors used by the main character to make sense of the world in which he lives. Each metaphor used to describe the game world becomes an object that the can be used by the player to solve problems.

The game is structured like classic text-adventure game. The game world is described with prose juxtaposed with high-quality illustrations, and the player interacts with the game by typing in simple commands.
